HOW
TO MEASURE YOUR CHILD'S FOOT SIZE
Measuring
your child’s footwear size is simple.
- Put your child’s
foot on a clean sheet of 8.5x11 paper
- Take a pencil or pen
and draw around the edges of your child’s foot, with the sock that he/she
will be wearing for this pair of shoe on, until you have completed a full
foot print drawing on paper
- Remove your child’s
foot from the paper
- Take a ruler and measure
the distance between the lowest point of the back heel and the furthest point
on the big toe and that would be your child’s foot size in “inches”.
- Convert the measurement
inches to the size run on the chart and pick out the relevant size for your
child.
Note: the size of your
child’s feet should be very similar to the shoe size that the child is
currently wearing. Please keep in mind that manufacturers use different lasts
to construct their shoes, and sizing may vary accordingly.
