Perfect Easter Dress!
April 4, 2016
This is the perfect Easter dress for your little princess. My daughter is 3 years old, 37 inches tall and she weighs 29 lbs. The size 4t fit her perfectly. The details are beautiful. Every year I feel like I won't find a dress that's as pretty as the one she wore the previous year. In the past I have always bought her Easter dresses at Sophia's Style. I happened across the Pink Princess site and fell in love with this and many other dresses. I compared the prices between the two sites and was surprised that Pink Princess was more than $10 cheaper for the same dress! The front of this dress is darling with all the flowers and the sash belt. If the flowers were brighter it would be too much, they are perfectly subtle and don't detract from your little ones pretty face. The back is something special. Of course I have to always buy an Easter dress with a tie bow in the back, but the top fold detail puts this dress over the top. When I showed this dress to my Mom online before buying she didn't like the top of the back where it folds over. We had a cardigan for her to wear if she got cold, so I knew if I didn't like the back I could easily cover it up. When the dress arrived I was blown away! I loved every detail, especially the back! It was perfectly adorable. Easter was early this year and we live in Pennsylvania, so she did end up wearing the cardigan most of the day. It was still gorgeous. She is going to wear the dress again for my Aunts 80th bday party, which is a fancy event. I wouldn't hesitate to encourage anyone considering this dress to absolutely buy it. You certainly will be happy you did! I will mention that when looking at the dress online I thought the background was a cream color, so I bought a cream color cardigan and ivory shoes for her to wear with it. They looked fine and the cream cardigan did not look off at all. The dress would look beautiful with any shade of white or ivory cover-up. If I had to buy a cardigan again though, I would buy a white one.
Easy to put on/take off
Is fancy for special occasions, but not so over the top that it looks like too much for a little girl
We travel 50 miles each way to church every Sunday and after wearing this dress in a car seat for an hour I was surprised that it wasn't a wrinkled mess. It still looked amazing and for the most part it was completely wrinkle free!
ConsThere's a layer of tulle between the inner lining and the top layer of the dress. My daughter complained a few times that the dress was scratchy. My husband or I rearranged it and fixed the lining so it was pulled all the way down and the tulle wasn't against her skin. As long as the lining (which is the full length of the dress) stays down, you'll be fine.
